Our history of weaving the carpets goes back to 1970. When our forefather started weaving on loom they started from a small room in his house and flourished into a huge family business. Soon his honesty & dedication drew the attention of a foreign company M/s Laura and Sons which was in the export business in the Bhadohi-Mirzapur belt In India for a long time. That is how a carpet was made in Bhadohi earned a name in the UK Getting an incentive, our grandfather established a firm Abdul Qayum and sons, in 1980 one of the earliest companies in Bhadohi. which exported carpets to London But the real job was done by my father Mr. Mohd Waseem who inherited the art of manufacturing and exporting carpets. It was in 1995, and since then he never looked back despite various challenges and changes in the industry. He has always been known as an initiator when it comes to innovation & revolution in the carpet.
